"La primera vez que conocí la Capilla Buffo fue en el año 1987.
Yo no vivía en Unquillo como lo hago ahora, sino que vivía en Córdoba y vine con mi familia y con un grupo con el que solíamos salir a visitar lugares muy lindos en las sierras. Estaba coordinado por la señora Lidia Jair, junto con ella vinimos a conocer Villa Leonor de los Quebrachitos y a pasar la noche. Pudimos acampar y algunos dormían en la torre. Yo dormí en una carpa mientras mis padres durmieron en el mirador. A la mañana nos contaron que había murciélagos en la torre, eso me había impactado mucho. Lo que más me gustó fue obviamente la posibilidad de poder entrar a la Capilla y verla al día siguiente. Me impactó muchísimo ver el péndulo, que en esa época tenía más elementos todavía formando parte del dispositivo y de los frescos lo que más me gustó ver, a diferencia de como están ahora con el paso del tiempo, en esa época se podía apreciar el azul con una profundidad. El fresco original tiene esa calidad como translúcido, eso fue muy impactante para mí.
Al día de hoy soy artista plástica y es una inspiración para mí haber conocido el interior de la Capilla Buffo: sus azules, sus esferas, todo lo flotante es algo que influencia en mi obra y además he tenido la posibilidad de a partir del año 2018, trabajar en este espacio del área de turismo de la Municipalidad de Unquillo. Actualmente me encuentro en la dirección de cultura y turismo, generando contenido para este espacio, guiando, estudiando y colaborando también con la gente de la Fundación Guido Buffo, para que cada vez sea más lindo visitar el espacio y seguir divulgando el Legado de la maravillosa familia Buffo Allende.
En esta nueva etapa que me he reencontrado con este espacio, lo que más me ha gustado, es la posibilidad de narrar para los visitantes la historia de amor de Guido y de Leonor: como ellos se conocieron. Esa es una de las partes que más me gusta de mi trabajo. Ahora estoy en otras tareas, hace mucho que no voy, pero cuando tengo que dar la visita guiada es toda una alegría y también de vez en cuando me he dado el gustito de cantar dentro de la capilla.
Hay veces que van novios a sacarse fotos, ya que es un lugar que los inspira muchísimo, inspira al amor más elevado y he cantado también para los novios en el interior. Es una experiencia bellísima por el sonido que hay dentro, la acústica de la capilla es hermosa."

"The first time I met Buffo´s Chapel was in 1987.
I wasn't living in Unquillo as I do now, I lived in Córdoba and I came with my family and with a group with whom we used to go out to visit very beautiful places in the mountains. It was coordinated by Mrs. Lidia Jair, together we came to see Villa Leonor de los Quebrachitos and to spend the night. We were able to camp and some people slept in the tower. I slept in a tent while my parents slept in the viewpoint. In the morning, they told us that there were bats in the tower, which had shocked me a lot. What I liked the most was obviously the possibility of being able to enter the Chapel and see it the next day. I was very shocked to see the pendulum, which at that time had more elements still forming part of the device. About the frescoes, which I liked the most to see, unlike how they are now over time, at that time you could see the blue with a depth. The original fresco has that quality like translucent, which was very shocking to me.
Nowadays I am a plastic artist and it is an inspiration for me to have known the interior of the Buffo Chapel: its blues, its spheres, everything floating is something that influences my work and also I have had the possibility of starting in 2018, work in this space of the tourism area of the Municipality of Unquillo. Currently I am in the direction of culture and tourism, generating content for this space, guiding, studying and also collaborating with the people of the Guido Buffo Foundation, so that it is increasingly beautiful to visit the space and continue to disseminate the Legacy of the wonderful Buffo Allende family.
In this new stage that I have rediscovered with this space, what I liked the most was the possibility of narrating for the visitors Guido and Leonor's love story: how they met. That is one of the parts that I like the most about my job. Now I am on other tasks, I have not been in a long time, but when I have to give the guided tour it is a joy and also from time to time I have the pleasure of singing inside the chapel.
There are times lovers go to take photos, since it is a place that inspires them a lot, inspires the highest love and I have also sung for them occasionally. It is a beautiful experience because of the sound inside; the acoustics of the chapel are beautiful."
