Experiencia #8 - Lorena Romano

Soy nacida en Chepes, La Rioja. En el año 1996 me vine a estudiar a Córdoba, luego me recibí, tuve mi primer hijo y formé familia. Buscando salir un poco de la capital ajetreada empezamos a buscar lugares más tranquilos, el día que pisé la vereda del lote donde posiblemente adquiriremos vimos el paisaje y nos enamoramos profundamente del lugar. Quise en ese momento conocer todo del pueblo, y una tarde llegamos a la Casa Museo Guido Buffo.

Creo que es el sentimiento de muchos ir aproximándose al lugar y ver aparecer la Capilla entre la arboleda y dejar atravesarse por sentimientos de amor, misterio, paz. Muchos después del primer recorrido expresan que es su lugar en el mundo, son diversas emociones las que te embargan al llegar. Lo mío no fue distinto, sólo que ese sentimiento creció con el tiempo y mientras más me conectaba con la historia de Buffo, más la conocía y más la amaba.

Suelo no quedarme con el sentimiento, ya que tengo una tendencia a las matemáticas y las ciencias, por lo que estudio todo lo que me atrae en ese sentido.

Los péndulos, la forma de la Capilla, la técnica de los frescos, las orientaciones astronómicas, sus investigaciones, sus bocetos, croquis, planos, pinturas y todo lo que se ve y lo que no se ve a simple vista me atrapan la mente inagotablemente. Es así que me contacté con Karina y Gustavo, primero con sus libros y luego con ellos personalmente, entendiendo que todo ese legado debía ser cuidado como el tesoro que es.

De ahí empecé a participar de diferentes maneras hasta que llegó el día de rearmar el Consejo de Administración y empecé a ser parte activa.

Fue un honor y un gran privilegio ser parte de la restauración de la Turris Eleonórica, sintiéndolo más como el pago de una deuda hacia Guido que cómo una simple actividad social. Con Rubén Whelan pudimos ser parte de la restauración que nos llevó todo el verano del 2019.

Nuestra misión ahora, es acompañar y colaborar en todo lo que podamos para mantener su legado. Y personalmente, en lo profundo de mi ser la conexión con la Obra de Guido me hizo entender un mundo en el que convergen perfectamente lo humano y lo divino, el equilibrio que todos necesitamos experimentar con la transformación y transmutación al ser que realmente somos todos.

I was born in Chepes, La Rioja. In 1996 I came to study in Córdoba, then I graduated, I had my first child and I started a family. Looking to get out of the busy capital a bit, we started looking for quieter places, the day I stepped on the sidewalk of the lot where we will possibly acquire we saw the landscape and we fell deeply in love with the place. At that moment I wanted to know everything about the town, and one afternoon we arrived at the Guido Buffo House Museum.

I think it is the feeling of many to approach the place and see the Chapel appear among the trees and allow feelings of love, mystery, peace to pass through. Many after the first tour express that it is their place in the world, there are various emotions that overwhelm you when you arrive. Mine was no different, only that that feeling grew over time and the more I connected with Buffo's story, the more I knew it and the more I loved it.

I tend not to stay with the feeling, since I have a penchant for math and science, so I study everything that attracts me in that regard.

The pendulums, the shape of the Chapel, the technique of the frescoes, the astronomical orientations, his investigations, his sketches, sketches, plans, paintings and everything that is seen and what is not seen with the naked eye, inexhaustibly trap my mind . This is how I contacted Karina and Gustavo, first with their books and then with them personally, understanding that all that legacy had to be cared for like the treasure that it is.

From there I began to participate in different ways until the day came to rearm the Board of Directors and I began to be an active part.

It was an honor and a great privilege to be part of the restoration of the Eleonoric Turris, feeling it more like the payment of a debt towards Guido than a simple social activity. With Rubén Whelan we were able to be part of the restoration that took us all summer 2019.

Our mission now is to accompany and collaborate in everything we can to maintain his legacy. And personally, in the depths of my being, the connection with Guido's Work made me understand a world in which the human and the divine converge perfectly, the balance that we all need to experience with the transformation and transmutation to the being that we really are all
